Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finally announced the name of captain of Pakistan cricket team for the world cup as Boom Boom Afridi has been handed the task to bring back the glory.
The Cricket Encounter had already revealed the name of Afridi as skipper some days back. The announcement was made by the team manager Intikhab Alam while addressing a press conference here at team hotel early on Friday.
The decision was taken after the PCB Chief Ejaz Butt visited the Pakistan cricket team in New Zealand and discussed the appointment of Shahid Afridi with the team management and other senior players.
It is important to mention here that the huge majority of cricket lovers from all over the world had already put their weight behind Afridi as skipper in a poll conducted by TEAM AFRIDI ( Largest Fan Page Of Afridi on facebook)
